This Chocolate No Bake Cookie Recipe is ideal for young children to make, you don’t have to put in the walnuts if you don’t want to.
Most kids love to lick out the bowl after making these, they are great fun for kids to make at childrens parties.
2/3 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 Cup Butter
4 Tablespoons light corn syrup
4 Cups Cornflakes
1 Cup Pitted Dates, Chopped
1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts
Makes 18 to 20
Melt the chocolate in a bowl over hot water.
Place the butter and syrup in a small pan over a gentle heat and stir until the butter is melted.
Stir into the chocolate with the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Allow to cool slightly, then place heaped spoonfuls of the mixture into paper cases (bonbon cups) and leave until firm.
