Chocolate and Banana Fool



Serves 4




115g Plain (Semisweet) Chocolate (Broken into small pieces)
300ml Ready-Made Fresh Custard
2 Bananas






  1. Put the chocolate pieces in a heat-proof bowl and melt in the microwave on high power for 1-2 minutes.(If you don’t have a microwave you can put the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of gently simmering water and leave until melted.


  2. Pour the custard into a bowl and gently fold in the melted chocolate to make a rippled effect.


  3. Peel and slice the bananas and stir these into the chocolate and custard mixture.


  4. Spoon into 4 glasses and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.



Cook’s Tips :-  Good quality chocolate and custard are ideal for this dessert and using an Orange Flavoured  Chocolate gives it another dimension all together.
