Caras Special Chocolate Crispy Cakes

This is my version of a great classic, that’s why I have called them Caras special chocolate crispy cakes which can be made with rice crispies or cornflakes.


I like to make mine with Fruit and Fiber Cereals as the fruit is a great added bonus and what really makes them special is I use Mars Bars for that extra toffee texture.


This is a Fab No Bake Recipe, kids will love to lick out the bowl as well as enjoy the end result.

400g Mars Bars, Sliced
2 Tbsp Golden Syrup
15g Butter
50g Fruit & Fiber Cereal (or a cereal of your choice.)

  1. Put the Mars Bars, syrup and butter into a pan and heat gently until the Mars Bars have melted.
  2. Remove the pan from the heat and add the cereal to the chocolate mix and stir together quickly.
  3. Divide the mixture equally into fairy cake cases depending on how much you put into each will determine how many cakes you get.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
