This is my version of a great classic, that’s why I have called them Caras special chocolate crispy cakes which can be made with rice crispies or cornflakes.
I like to make mine with Fruit and Fiber Cereals as the fruit is a great added bonus and what really makes them special is I use Mars Bars for that extra toffee texture.
This is a Fab No Bake Recipe, kids will love to lick out the bowl as well as enjoy the end result.
400g Mars Bars, Sliced
2 Tbsp Golden Syrup
15g Butter
50g Fruit & Fiber Cereal (or a cereal of your choice.)
- Put the Mars Bars, syrup and butter into a pan and heat gently until the Mars Bars have melted.
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the cereal to the chocolate mix and stir together quickly.
- Divide the mixture equally into fairy cake cases depending on how much you put into each will determine how many cakes you get.
- Allow the mixture to cool in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
