White Bread Recipe
Bread Maker Recipe

This White Bread Recipe is a classic basic white loaf for your bread maker, Ideal when you first get your new bread machine.

A delightful Bread for all occasions with a golden crust and silky texture.


Ingredients

275ml Water (Check your machine for either cold or warm water)

2 Tbsp Oil

3 Cups Strong White Bread Flour

1 1/4 Tsp Salt

1 1/2 Tsp Caster (superfine) Sugar

2 Tbsp Dried Skimmed Milk Powder

1 1/2 Tsp instant or fast-acting Dried Yeast


Method

Pour the water into the bread maker bucket, then add the oil and half the flour.

Sprinkle with the salt, sugar and dried milk.

Cover with the remaining flour and mound the yeast into the center.

Fit the bucket into the bread maker and set to the program recommended in your manual (usually basic white or Number 1).

When ready, carefully shake the loaf out of the bucket on to a wire cooling rack and stand up right away.
