Sun Dried Tomato Bread A Great Bread Maker Recipe.
I love this Sun Dried Tomato Bread as it also contains Red Pepper, it makes an ideal loaf to serve when you have guest with Tapas, or other Appetizers. Kids love this bread is very bright in color and sweet in flavor.
Ingredients
1 1/4 Cups of Water (Check your manual to see if you need warm or cold water)
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
3 Cups (Soft Grain) Strong White Bread Flour
2 Tsp Garlic Salt
2 Tsp Superfine (Caster) Sugar
2 Tbsp Dried Skimmed Milk Powder
1/2 Cup Sun Dried Tomatoes, roughly chopped
1/2 Cup Roughly Chopped Red Pepper
1 1/4 Tsp Instant or Fast Acting Dried Yeast
Method
Pour the water in to the bread maker bucket, then add the oil and half of the flour.
Sprinkle with the salt, sugar,dried milk, tomatoes and peppers.
Cover with the remaining flour and mound the yeast into the center.
Fit the bucket in to the bread machine and set to the recommended program in your manual (usually basic white or Number 1).
Once cooked remove from the bucket by shaking gently and leave to cool on a wire rack.
