Simple(but delicious)Carrot Cake

by Miss Chan
(Birmingham)

Ingredients:

-Eggs-4

-Plain Flour/Self-Raising Flour:(If you use self-raising flour, then you don't need baking powder)2 Cups

-Sugar-1 Cup

-Vegetable Oil-1/2 Cup

-Baking Powder-1 tsp

-Carrots-3 pieces

-Some raisins or sultanas(if you don't know what sultanas are, then check on google images to see what it is)

(Turn on the oven up to 180 Celsius)

Method:

-First of all, you add the eggs(3 eggs)into the bowl after you crack them.

-After that, you whisk them, using a whisker, until they turn bright yellow.

-When your done you leave your eggs aside and you start to grate your carrots.

-Then, you pour the grated carrots into the bowl(where the eggs were mixed)and then you whisk them until they are all blended together.

-You carefully siff the flour into the bowl, but not all of it(siff until size of a mouse).

-You whisk the mixture again until you can't see any flour in the mixture, so after that, you add some more flour again(same size of a mouse).

-After you finished all the flour, you add some raisins/sultanas and then you mix until they are all blended together.

-Now the mixture is done, you need a loaf tin or anything you have to bake a cake, brush the tin with butter and after that, you pour in the mixture into the tin.

-Last of all, you bake it for 35 minutes and then you are readyto serve.

Hope you enjoy it!!
