Ham Omelette Recipe




Ham Omelette great for breakfast or lunch and so easy to make. Eggs are natures fast food.

One egg can provide up to 20% of a child daily protein requirement.

They also contain potassium, iodine, folic acid, beta-carotene and iron.

Preparation Time 5 Minutes

Cooking Time 8 Minutes

2 Eggs

1 Tablespoon Water or Milk

2 Teaspoons Virgin Olive Oil

50g Lean Ham (chopped)

Sea Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper

You Will Need an Omelette Pan or a Small Frying Pan(15 cm)


1.Break the eggs into a bowl, add the water or milk and salt and pepper to taste.

2.Whisk briefly with a fork or a wire whisk.

3.Heat the oil in the omelette pan or frying pan and swirl around to coat the bottom of the pan.

4.Pour in the egg mixture, then use a fork to pull the set egg mixture that forms at the edges of the pan into the center, as this allows the uncooked egg to the edge of the pan.

5.When lightly set, sprinkle in the ham and cook for a further 2 minutes.

6.Fold the omelette over and slide it onto a warmed plate Serve straight away.





You may want to vary this omelette recipe, as having a the same omelette every time maybe become boring.

Add 1 Chopped Tomato with the Ham.

Add 2 Tablespoons grated Half Fat Cheese when you add the ham.

Add 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh mixed herbs to the egg before adding them to the pan.
