Guacamole A Classic Mexican Dip and Easy Appetizer Recipe
Guacamole is a Classic Mexican Dip the perfect accompaniment with nachos or tortilla chips, it tastes delicious when fresh and only takes only minutes to prepare.
It is a Very Easy Appetizer Recipe.
Serves 2-4
1 Large very ripe Avocado
1 Large Tomato
1 Lime
1 Small Garlic Clove
A Big Pinch of Salt
A Big Pinch of Ground Black Pepper
1. Using a small, sharp knife cut the avocado in half, all around from top to bottom. Twist the fruit gently until it comes apart.
2. Using a spoon remove the flesh from both sides, throw the stone away along with the skin.
3. Mash the avocado with the back of a fork to make a lumpy puree.
4. Rinse the tomato and then cut it into quarters, cut each quarter into 6 pieces.
5. Add the tomato to the bowl with the avocado.
6. Cut the lime in half, then squeeze out the lime juice using an lemon squeezer.
7. Add 2 teaspoons of the lime juice to the bowl, keep back the remaining juice as you may need it later.
8. Peel the garlic and crush it with a garlic press of chop it very finely, add to the bowl and season with salt and pepper.
9. Mix all of the ingredients together with a fork, you want the mixture to a bit lumpy.
10. Taste and add more lime juice salt and pepper if you need to.
