Welcome to Gourmet Kids!
Gourmet Kids gives children aged 2 to 15 an exciting opportunity to experiment with food – and they won’t get into trouble for making a mess in our kitchen!

A Gourmet Kids birthday baking party is great fun for all, whether you’re getting your hands sticky and licking the spoon, or watching the kids cook up a storm in our safe and supervised kitchen.

We’ve had the pleasure of running fun and creative cooking experiences for over 10 years, and have hosted thousands of fun and safe cooking parties.

Our parties can accommodate between 12 and 40 children (smaller or larger parties are available upon request) and are tailored to meet the children’s specific age requirements. The parties are also perfect for when the ages of the children vary, as assistance is given to those who require help while the more capable cooks are given the freedom to explore their own abilities.

We offer a number of party packages that can suit any budget, as well as a number of extras such as photographs of the day, food for any non-participating adult guests attending, and a range of delicious Gourmet Kids birthday cakes to complete the experience.

We’re happy to take into account any allergies, dietary requirements, or other special needs that your guests may have… just let us know when making a booking,

What happens on the day?

When the party guests arrive, they will all be given chef hats and aprons to dress up into, they then have an activity to keep them busy labelling their baking sheets, and colouring in their party bags.

When all have arrived and ready to start, using their own set of cooking equipment each child will prepare their own item based on the recipe chosen by the birthday child, this takes around 30-45 minutes.

After cooking up a storm the children move to the party table to partake in the party feast followed by the birthday cake.

Satisfied with their cooking accomplishments and now with full tummies, to finish off the party on a high we offer short burst of age appropriate games, music and dancing.

At the end of the session, each child gets to take home their baked creation from the day as their own special party gift.
