Ginger Spice Muffin Mix in a Jar

by Kelly
(London)

The End Result.

Hi my Aunt gave this to my daughter as a gift this Christmas we have just baked them and they are really delicious and so easy to do. I really recommend that if you have never tried this recipe before you do it is a really good idea, I'll be giving them out as gifts this year. Happy Baking.

Ginger Spice Muffin Mix in a Jar

1 3/4 cups flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Ginger Spice Muffins (makes 1 dozen muffins): 1 package Ginger Spice Muffin Mix, 1/4 c. butter or margarine melted,1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 c. milk. Preheat oven to 400ºF and grease 12 muffin tins.

In a large bowl, combine the muffin mix with the butter, egg, vanilla and mil.

Stir the mixture until the ingredients are blended; do not overmix - batter will be lumpy. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full, and bake for 15 minutes.

How My Aunt Made This Lovely Cooking Gift.

Combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Store mixture in airtight container. At Christmastime, give mix packed in airtight decorative jars. Cover tops of jars with Christmas fabric, and tie red and green ribbon around the lids. Attach gift tag instructions to the ribbon.
