Garlic Bread Recipe

This easy Garlic Bread Recipe can be made in your Bread Maker, it has an unusual soft crust in the style of a loaf does often surprise many people when they eat it.



The Garlic and Butter blend very well into the bread and can be served along side any meal you want to prepare for your family.

You can also toast this bread and serve it topped with grilled mushrooms an ideal appetizer.


Ingredients

2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter

1 1/4 Cups Water (Check your Manual to see whether you need warm or cold water)

2 Tbsp Garlic Paste

3 Cups Strong White Bread Flour

2 Tsp Salt

2 Tsp Caster Sugar

1 Tbsp Dried Skimmed Milk Powder

1/14 Tsp Instant or Fast-Acting Dried Yeast


Method

Melt the butter gently in a saucepan or in a dish in the microwave on the defrost setting.

Pour the water into the bread maker bucket, then add the butter, garlic paste and half the flour.

Sprinkle with the salt, sugar and dried milk.

Cover with the remaining flour and mound the yeast into the center.

Fit the bucket into the bread machine and set to the recommended program in the manual. (usually Basic White or Number 1).

When your Garlic Loaf is cooked, carefully shake the loaf out of the bucket and leave to cool on a wire rack.
