Easy Kids Christmas Cookies Recipes
Enjoying a Family Tradition

I am often asked by friends for Easy Kids Christmas Cookies Recipes, and I love to share my recipes with them.

Baking together at Christmas is a family tradition in many homes all over the world. Gingerbread is one of the most traditional biscuits to bake, these are often used to make edible ornaments to decorate your festive tree.

Getting out your favorite Cookie Cutters, sprinkles and candy with the kids is a great way to spend quality time together, creating some do it yourself holiday treats, that you can eat yourselves or hand out to family and friends, when they come to visit. You could even give them as gifts, I know my Mom loves homemade treats from her Grandchildren.

When it comes to holiday baking, cookies are the most popular for kids to cook, they are easy to make , and take no time at all to cook, kids love to decorate them and get their hands dirty.

That is why so many people are looking for kids Christmas Cookies Recipes and why I created this page. I have tried to find as many Recipes as I could from all over the world, German, English, Scottish, Italian and many more.

11. Roll out the dough between the 2 sheets of waxed paper until it is about 1/4 inch thick, turn the dough over and gently remove the paper.

12. Turn the dough again and remove the other sheet of paper.

13. Cut the dough with a 3-inch star cutter and place about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. (excess dough can be re-rolled.

14. Use a small spoon or a spatula to spread the remaining meringue on top of the cookies, taking care not to allow it to drip over the sides.

15. Decorate with any remaining sliced almonds to make a nice pattern.

16. Bake the cookies until the bottoms are golden and the meringue is set and crisp. For 30 Minutes.

17. Turn the oven off and open the door to dry out the cookies whilst they are still in the oven for a further 10 minutes.
