Cinnamon Toast Recipe

This Cinnamon Toast Recipe is one of the quickest snack ever to be invented. Make sure that an adult is always around to help with the toasting and grilling.

The Kids will love this treat, hot buttered toast topped with cinnamon sugar, grilled until crunchy.

You will Need.

2 Thick Slices of Bread

Unsalted Butter

1 1/2 Tablespoons Caster (superfine) Sugar

1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Serves 1 to 2

Toast the 2 slices of bread in a toaster.

Carefully remove the hot toast from the toaster and then spread it with the butter, using as much or as little as you like.

Mix the sugar with the cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the buttered toast to cover in an even level.

Put the toast under the grill for 30 seconds to 1 minute until the sugar has melted and looks all bubbly.

Carefully remove from the grill, allow to cool for 5 minutes before eating.

You could also so use Crumpets, English Muffins or Brioche.
