Chocolate Flapjacks



Chocolate Flapjacks are made by kids and loved by everyone a very easy chocolate no bake cookie recipe to follow.



6 Tablespoons Butter

2 Tablespoons Light Corn Syrup

1/2 lb Muesli Mix

1/2 Cup Chopped Pitted Dates

1/4 Cup Candied Cherries, Chopped

2/3 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips


Heat the butter and syrup together in a saucepan until melted.

Remove from the heat and add the muesli mix, date and cherries. Mix thoroughly.

Spoon into greased 18cm / 7 inch square cake pan and press down well.

Chill until firm, then remove from the pan.

Melt the chocolate in a bowl over hot water.

Spread over the flapjack mixture and mark into swirls with a palette knife.

Chill until the chocolate is firm.

Cut into fingers before serving

Makes 10 Flapjacks
